My son (7) plays the guitar. More specifically, he owns one and takes classes once a week. The instrument was his own wish. But he never practices. On the one hand, I don’t want to have another conflict area besides doing homework, putting away my tablet, etc. On the other hand, I wonder why we throw money down the drain every week when the only thing he does with the guitar is in class. Should we force him to practice or just cancel the lessons?
