It is, there is no other way to put it, a thankless task: to bring young people, who are interested in everything except being reasonable, to an issue that requires reason – so much reason that most adults, even in their maximally rational moments don’t feel like dealing with it. It’s about money and dealing with it as a young person in such a way that in the end you might end up with more of it, at some point. Two books have now been published that solve this task sometimes more, sometimes less well.
