Midtown jewelry clerk steals more than 2 million pesos in jewelry and accessories

Jewelry and accessories worth 2 million pesos were reported stolen inside a jewelry store in the Midtown shopping plaza which is located at the intersection of Av. López Mateos and Colomos street in Guadalajara.

Presumably it is an employee of said establishment who stole the jewelry for several days and was discovered by the business owners through videos on surveillance cameras.

Although the owners of the jewelry called the authorities, it seems that the arrest did not proceed as the alleged thief was not caught in flagrante delicto.

So far, there is no information on what measures the Prosecutor’s Office took regarding this ant robbery of millions of pesos.
