Regardless of whether it’s about eating disorders, alcohol abuse or online addiction: Boys and girls deal with mental health problems differently and need different types of help and advice. Why it is like that.
The specialist congress “Addiction and Gender” is taking place in Munich for the fourth time. Eight independent sponsors and associations, three municipal departments such as school, social and health departments and the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Munich took part in the organisation. The two-day conference in the Catholic University of Applied Sciences, which runs until March 8, is primarily aimed at specialists in addiction and youth welfare, as well as teachers and pedagogical specialists. The initiative for Munich girls* (Imma) is also part of the organizational team.
